One commission, paid by vendors, only on completed bookings. No subscriptions, no hidden fees.
WedSpace charges vendors a single 10% transaction commission on each completed booking, inclusive of applicable GST.
The commission is deducted at the time of fund release from the vendor's settlement — never charged upfront.
There is no subscription fee, listing fee, or onboarding fee of any kind.
This commission may vary for specific vendors as agreed in their individual vendor agreement.
There are no charges to couples beyond the vendor's quoted price.
WedSpace's commission is paid entirely by the vendor from their settlement — it is not added on top of your quote.
You will never be asked to pay WedSpace a separate platform fee.
Couples pay a minimum 30% advance at booking confirmation to secure the date.
The remaining balance is due per the milestone schedule agreed between the couple and vendor within the booking contract.
By default, bookings use a two-milestone structure: a 30% advance and a 70% balance.
All payments are processed via Razorpay, an RBI-authorised Payment Aggregator, and held securely in escrow via Razorpay Route.
Funds are released to the vendor once the agreed service milestone is met, or automatically 7 days after the event date by default.
This auto-release period may be adjusted by WedSpace from time to time; the period applicable to your booking is shown in your booking confirmation.
If a dispute is raised, the relevant escrow amount is frozen until the dispute is resolved.
The 10% platform commission is inclusive of 18% GST on WedSpace's platform services.
Vendors are responsible for their own tax obligations on the services they provide.
Invoices for each booking are generated on the platform and available in your dashboard.
